Current // Vegas Vacation

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, except pictures of all the amazing food you eat.

This is always my agenda when I come to Las Vegas

Of course the Rozier girls had to make a pit stop at the bake shop of master baker, Cake Boss, Buddy Valastor.  He made a shop that dreams are made of.  Let me tell you, please don't hate me for this one,  I am over cupcakes.  I just haven't been into them lately, but Cake Boss totally brought my new favorite dessert, cannollie, back to life.

Outfit Post // Carolina

Poncho Julie Brown Designs c/o // Turtleneck Old Navy but similar here // Jeans NYDJ c/o // Shoes Rowen Footwear c/o // Clutch GIGI New York // Sunglasses Tory Burch // Rings Gorjana Jewelry // Lips Smashbox

The cold is setting in and I don't like it.  But what I do like is when designers give us resort fashions that work for the freezing temperatures.  This is my first time wearing a Poncho.  I took it a little safe styling it, but I will say the Carolina blue color pallet matches perfectly with the navy stripe, and what North Carolina basketball fan wouldn't love this poncho.
I am really liking the poncho for physical body reasons.  Does anyone feel great in the winter in any clothes?  Well I most certainly don't rind now.  I am pale, bloated, and just not feeling great, but throwing on this poncho from Julie Brown Designs makes me feel put together and great in my winter skin.

Everyone still ask can you wear white in the winter.  My answer is yes, it is perfectly acceptable to wear white in the winter.  I just love clean, crisp, and everything white.  But when you need to keep warm in the winter months try mixing your white with some blue and beige.
So wanting the perfect flat that transitions from fall to winter to spring? Rowen footwear have become my go to when I just need to let my feet breath a little during these full on boot wearing months.  I also think they look great in the spring paired with a white jean and a flawy top.
Also who has been keeping up with all the amazing tv shows this winter?  I know when I have been traveling all week and come home and its to cold to hang outside my couch becomes my best friend with a little binge cable session.   Stay warm my friends and don't forget there is plenty of great TV shows to keep in interested during these snow days.

Current // Friday Favorite Five

TGIF. TGIF. TGIF. TGIF. TGIF. Ok I think y'all get how excited I am that it's Friday.  I have been looking forward to this weekend for so long now and here is why, well not my first favorite, its more of an informative Friday point.

ONE // Tomorrow is Friday the 13th.  I have never even thought twice about this date but so many people get all worked up about it.  There is even a named phobia, Paraskevidekatriaphobia is the fear of Friday the 13th, yea try and pronounce that one ha ha.  To realistically think about Friday the 13th, its only a state of mind that brings you bad luck, but there is not drying that fact that a lot of unfortunate events have happened on this feared upon day.

TWO // Fifty Shades of Grey, Enough said right.  Lets hope these actors do it justice.

THREE // NYFW has officially started as of yesterday.  I can't wait to see all the street fashion, fall collections, and blogger fashion week mania over the next week.  I can't believe it was a year ago that I was there and going to my first fashion show.  Talking about it got me in the mood to go again with my blogger gal pal, Kristina from Medicine and Manicures.  We are starting to plan asap so we can bring y'all the best in fashion, coming to you hopefully in September.

FOUR // Valentine's Day is almost here and even though I don't have a date for Valentine's Day I am going to be my own Valentine.  I am getting my hair, nails, and spray tan done.  So all in all it's going to be a great day with lots of love, for myself.

FIVE // Vegas baby. Sunday I am heading to one of my favorite cities ever, Las Vegas.  I can't believe its that time again for me to flee the cold and enjoy the dry, warm thank God, weather of the west.  Don't worry pictures of restaurants and food to come.

Outftit Post // Wind Chill

Sweater old but love this one and this one // Collared Shirt J.Crew // Vest old from Old Navy  // Jeans NYDJ c/o // Hat old but love this one and this one too // Camp Socks  J.Crew Factory // Duck Boots  Sperry Topsider

Weather man says its going to be cold and windy this weekend.   So I wanted to share a little cold weather dress inspiration.  I also just realized this red sweater is perfect for a cold Valentine's Day spent cozied up on the couch with your gal pals or your main squeeze drinking wine and watching old movies.
These amazing duck boots from Sperry Top- Sider are just the ticket for and cold, windy, and snowy/wet day.  They have soft fabric on the inside and sip on the side so you can just slip them on.  These boots are going to be coming with me to NYC for Coterie.  I don't think I can ever survive going to NYC in February with out these bad boys on my feet.

Outfit Post // We All Scream For . . .

Skirt Anthropologie //  Tshirt J.Crew // Denim Jacket old but love this one from Gap // Shoes Isola // Sunglasses old but similar from Ray- Ban // Bracelet Gorjana // Watch  Michael Kors

Hello Sping, Is that you tempting us to bring out our spring wardrobe?  It was in the 60s almost 70s all weekend in Atlanta.  Everyone was outside at the park, getting ice cream, and just enjoying this spring like weather.  I hope you are not tricking us spring, because we are ready for you!  The best ice cream joint in Atlanta has to be Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream, and did you know you can join the pint club and get ice cream delivered to your house 4 times a year.  Can we just say #bestgiftever ?

So the hot item this past christmas was this tulle skirt from Anthropologie.  I was so excited when a special someone gave me a gift card and I knew exactly what I was going to get.  You got it this black tulle skirt.  Hear comes my favorite line "you can dress it up, dress it down or put a belt on it."  During this time of year its hard to dress in-between seasons so just recycle key items from your winter wardrobe and mix with a touch of spring, like this grey and gold tee from J.Crew, and you got the perfect and balanced look.

Current // Friday Favorite Five

So I want to make more of an effort to participate in the Friday Favorite Five.  I learn so many thing each week that I want to share the love and tell you want my favorite things are each week.  You never know if you learn a tip from me or we might be favoriting the same things at this very moment.   So here it goes my favorite five things this week.

ONE // Ikea Hacks are helping me as I am decorating my apartment, you might have seen in this post.  I am obsessed with my new place.  Decorating is taking time and its a work in progress.  With that being said I have come to love my frequent trips to Ikea to find a great deal on a look a like of something more expensive or something that I can make look expensive.  Which brings me to my first and might I add successful hack.

During the spray paint session, gold of course

Finished product in my dining room

TWO // Two weeks ago my friend and I tried the The General Muir in Atlanta, Ga and fell in love.  It is such a quaint and fresh looking restaurant we stayed for almost 3 hours.  The service was great and the food was spectacular.

Definitely one of the best burgers in Atlanta, trust me I am a tough judge

THREE // I got my ticket for none other than Fifty Shades of Grey for Valentine's Day weekend.  Really not much else to be said.  Except it's going to be amazing.

FOUR // Britt Bass, this Atlanta based artist has quickly become my new obsession.  Right now she is doing a Insta only sale and post beautiful original pieces of artwork and with a quick and I mean you have to be quick #sold its yours.  Its like fun to see what will go up next and how fast people are moving to buy her work. Check it out at @KatexBritt you will definitely be leaving this page with a purchase.

My first purchase, because I know there will be more.

FIVE // Visited a friend this week and got to see her beautiful midtown apartment and meet the most handsome and sweetest little chihuahua named Pepe.  He was so excited to see me and we even took a #selfie.  So this only worsens the want for a dog but at least I know I can babysit him anytime I want.
