Don't be afraid to wear white from head to toe.  If I am going to wear an all white look I also try and add a texture to one of the pieces.  Like this shirt from Kut from the Kloth, the lace and trim and buttons up the back make this white shirt totally special and not so flat.
Also I love to add a pop of color to any monochromatic look.  Like my GIGI New York clutch.  Their new colors for spring are by far my favorite thus far.  Another wardrobe essential this spring is a tan leather shoe.  I think I have told you this before but you have to find a shoe like this, plus a boyfriend jean always looks more slimming with a heal on your foot. Have a great week and be on the look out for a food post from my week in south Florida and the beautiful wedding I attend this past weekend.

Let me just put this out there, that this vest is the most amazing piece of clothing ever.  It looks so great on, trendy and stylish, but classy and elegant at the same time.  If there is ever something to incorporate into your closet this year it would be a sleeveless black blazer vest.
Today I am heading to Auburn for a good friends wedding.  I am so excited to spend the weekend with friends celebrating the blessing of marriage.  I know it will be a beautiful ceremony and resection and I know you all have been wondering what I am wearing but you will have to follow along with me on my instagram page to see what beautiful dress I am going to wear.
I hope everyone has an amazing weekend, blessed with beautiful spring weather for any of your fun or lazy day events.

Outfit Post // Built In

Nothing is better than when you only have to worry about putting on a top, pants, and shoes, am I right?  Having a "Built In" necklace to a top makes getting dress all the easier in the morning.  This look is perfect for a weekend brunch with the girls.  I love the sharp black gladiator to off set the cool  teal color and white.  I am always down for a good contrast of black and white.
So on another note this weekend I am heading down to the greatest town on the planes, Auburn, for a good friend of mine's wedding.  Be looking out for sneak peeks of what dress and accessories I will be wearing.  I have been waiting all winter to wear this!
Also so sorry but I can not find a top like this.  Promise I will keep looking.

So the obsession is real people, I don't have enough white shirts.  I have been on a war path to find the perfect white shirt and then buy 5 of them so I have one for every day of the week.  But every white shirt I get I love and I can't buy 5 of every one now because I love them all.  I can't get enough of white shirts, I think its becoming a problem.  When did I become so predictable?  I have lots of fun tops and dresses like Tuesdays post Mountain View.   But always seem to pick up that white shirt on Monday morning and continue the trend all through the week.
The dressy white shirt is perfect for a date night!  Its clean and fresh looking, looks great with jeans, and doesn't have a collar to appear to casual or masculine.  This top is like wear sugar.  Soft and sweet looking.  What more could a girl want to look like during the early months of spring.

So its the time of year to bring out the spring dresses.  I switched over my closet last week and fell in love with all my spring and summer clothes all over again.  This dress from Yumi London is the perfect spring dress for any event, weddings, garden party, and any time you just want to put on a pretty dress.  When I saw this dress I knew it would make a statement.  I have been in the mood lately for pieces to add to my closet that make an impact.  I want pieces that stand out and catch peoples attention, and this dress does the trick.
I also am in love with these chunky, tan, cage heals from Rowen Footwear.  They are so comfortable and look good with anything from jeans and a T-shirt to a great printed dress.  This dress doesn't need much, so these shoes and neon GIGI New York cross body work perfectly together to bring this look to another level.
