So its Wednesday already.  Wow this week is flying by, ha ha.  I mean the silver lining to a long weekend is a short week.  So Hello, almost, weekend.  I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day.  I am enjoying the rain in Atlanta, really loving this rain, for all my plants.
Next thing on my list is to tell you is how obsessed with Gorjana Jewelry I am,  I have styled some of my new favorite pieces from their summer collection.  Layering dainty necklaces together builds one bold look.  Styled with a grey tee makes you city ready in seconds.  Check out there site  for every gold necklace you could imagine.  Also want to mention I am very hard on my jewelry and this can withstand the test.  It hasn't broken, tarnished, faded, or fallen apart on me.  I wear it everyday and make these so simple pieces bring my entire look together.
Also a little shout out to the store located behind me  The Merchant has so many cool gifts and home accessorize.  I love my neighborhood, so next time your in ATL come check out West Midtown.

This Week I . . .

had a fun and hot last week on the road.  I traveled the southern coast of South Carolina, Georgia, and the top of Florida.  What a fun time exploring and visiting each town.  I wanted to tell you I fell in love this week, with Savannah, Ga. Here are some details from my stay in the perfectly southern city.
I tried Hotwire for the first time.  If you travel and need a break for Hampton Inn, I do love to get those points though, get on hotwire and find great deals for amazing hotels.  My tip is only bid on the hotels with 100-90% recommended.  I hit the jackpot my first time with a night stay at The Andaz Savannah.  This boutique hotel is amazing and worth any trip to Savannah just to stay here.  When I was checking into my room, Paula Dean, yes the souths best cook ever, was on a carriage ride right outside, I mean what a welcome to Savannah, right?
I was welcomed with local cookies and flavored ice water, its very hot in Savannah.  The rooms are beautiful and my view was amazing, looked right over Ellis Square.  The restaurant and bar downstairs was poppin and has one of the best bartenders/ mixologist in the south.  I had a great night sleep after exploring this quaint city.  The next morning I had a wonderful and fresh farm to table breakfast in the hotel restaurant.  Complete with fresh mixed berry jam, straight from the garden carrot salad, and cured meats and cheese.  What a great start to the morning, right?
After visiting a few very cute local stores such as Nola JaneHarper Boutique and Red Clover, more details about these shops at a later date, I grabbed a coffee from this precious walk up coffee shop and cafe The Collins Quarter and headed to Jacksonville, Fl.
I hope everyone gets some great travel ideas for your next trip to Savannah, Ga.  I can't wait to return in a couple months for even more exploration and restaurants to try.  Have a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend.  I will be shooting the hootch in Atlanta. Wish me luck.

Outfit Post // Sum Lace

Romper Muse c/o // Shoes Nordstrom // Necklace old but love this one // Clutch Lilly for Target, sold out // Ring Gorjana c/o // Earrings Gorjana c/o // Bracelet Gorjana c/o // Sunglasses Tory Burch // Lipstick Urban Decay Rapture // Nail polish Funny Bunny

Whats the next best thing to a LBD?  A little black romper.  Man did I hit the jackpot on this lace romper from Muse.  It is so comfortable and looks great for any summer occasion.  I love having turquoise pop against the black/white/coral but you can always put a sparkle piece with it and dress it up.  I see this look going to an outdoor dinner party.
I love wearing black in the summer, who am I kidding I love wearing black any time of year.  Nothing makes you look more tan and thin than black so why wouldn't you want to wear it during the summer when you have less clothes on anyways.

Lifestyle // Hostess Gift Ideas

Tervis Cups Tervis Tumbler  // Beer Bread Boardwalk Food Company // Dish Towels hereherehere, and here//  Cookie Butter Trader Joes
Who has a very busy summer? I know I do, and finding myself being invited to so many parties and events planned by friends this summer.  Being southern belle I am I don't like to show up empty handed, especially if its a weekend trip or all day event.  So I wanted to share some of my new favorite finds that make great hostess gift ideas for under $10 dollars.  I stock up on cute dish towels, cups, and fun kitchen goodies like this for when I need something last minute or like this summer when I know I have lots of invites on the fridge.
Heres a list of great gift ideas with pictures above.
Tervis Tumblers - gift one or a set you can't go wrong for a sweat proof cup for the summer,  bonus great collector gift, you can add to or start a collection for someone.
Cookie Butter - this magical spread is great for a sweet treat, add it to s'mores, toast, or even just a spoon will do.
Dish towels - fun summer themed towels for someones beach or lake house are always needed to clean up messes or add some color and fun to a kitchen.
Beer Bread - I found a great company that has a beer bread mix that is so easy anyone can whip it up, comes in tons of flavors and can be used to make sandwiches, soak up seafood gumbo, or enjoy with breakfast.
These are my favorite little gifts for the summer.  Check out all their websites for more options.  Remember have a great summer and don't show up empty handed, these gifts will be sure to make your the best guest and get invited again and again.

Outfit Post // Anorak

Dress Old Navy // Jacket Fillmore // Watch Daniel Wellington c/o // Ring Gorjana // Shoes Converse // Sunglasses Tory Burch // Cup Tervis c/o

I am gearing up for a big weekend, one more day of work and then I am off for one of my best friends wedding this weekend in Charlotte, NC.  As her maid of honor I wanted to make sure I am there for any last minute errand running, primping and prepping that needs to happen, and of course the all the slumber parties that will be going on ( including eating healthy snacks and watching bridesmaids, bride wars, and my big fat greek wedding).
This little number was definitely packed to come with me to Charlotte.  This dress is so comfortable has the cutest stripes.  When have I ever said no to a stripe?  That would, never.  Plus it comes up to be around $13, big sale right now at Old Navy.  Paired with this amazing anorak jacket for those random rain storms and I am all set for any MOH duties that come my way.
I want to wish the bride and groom so many happy and blessed memories to be made this weekend with everyone they love surrounding them.  Let the party begin #fraziersgethitched

Home // Diptyque

So as you know I have been decorating my new apartment.  It is coming along great, just bought a rug and will update you on that in a post later don't worry.  I wanted to splurge on a new scent for my apartment and I knew just the place to go.  I headed to the Shops at Buckhead Atlanta.  This was my first time going into a Diptyque candle shop and I can't tell a lie I was kind of nervous about what to expect and what to pick out.  This is no small candle purchase.  They are pretty expensive and you want to get the right one.
I went into this thinking I wanted the classic candle so that after I could use the glass for flowers or makeup brushes, I know like every other blogger in the country.  The girl who helped me was so knowledgable about the candles and how to help me select the perfect scent for me.  She presented each candle out of the glass to get the most potent smell.  She also asked all the right questions to trigger any smell memories like, where the candle would be going, what smells are my favorite, what kind of perfume do I wear, any memory from my childhood that I might want bring back this summer?  I was so impressed with how detailed she was about helping me pick out what seems like such a simple thing.  It was so fun to think about what all I like and what kind of new smell I want to bring into my home.
With summer around the corner and just coming back from Palm Beach I was so excited to see the boutique exclusive collection included a beachy smell from Palm Beach Florida.  I went back a forth about it being in a black container, but ultimately fell in love with the salty, beach, laid back smell of Palm Beach.  I have already been enjoying this candle to the fullest and am so thankful for the help I received in picking out this amazing candle.  I look forward to enjoying it all summer long and starting my collection of Diptyque candles for each room.
Hope this helps anyone who is looking to buy a candle from Diptyque.  If you're in the Atlanta area make sure you head to the actual Diptyque Boutique you will be waited on hand and foot and made to feel like you are creating a candle just for you.
Hope everyone has a great week.

Outfit Post // Wall Flower

Sweater J.Crew // Flare Jeans Kut from the Kloth c/o // Shoes BP // Ring Gorjana c/o // Watch Daniel Wellington c/o // Bracelet Stella & Dot // Sunglasses Tory Burch

Ok I know its weird that I am posting a sweater look as we soon enter into triple digit temps .  I reminded myself that there are other people in this country, living in other places, and these other places aren't in the south.  These places that I speak of are still a little chilly at night and they can rock this amazing, flower detailed, sweater from J.Crew.
Moving on can we talk about how the flare is back and better than ever.  I didn't think I could ever pull this look off, but I am telling you these will be my go to jeans this summer.  They make your legs look about a mile long and you don't really have to worry about your shoes because no one can see them, or really should.  That brings me to my next point, with a flare you should not be able to see your shoes, maybe just the smallest bit when you walk, but its totally appropriate to have your flare completely cover your shoe.  So when your wondering what shoes to wear just go with a neutral wedge or heal.
